Lewis Hamilton

Sir Lewis Hamilton, born on January 7, 1985 in Stevenage, Hertfordshire, England, is a British Formula 1 driver for Mercedes. Tied with Michael Schumacher, Hamilton has won a record seven F1 World Championships. He also holds the record for the most wins (103), pole positions (104), and podium finishes (195).

Lewis began his racing career with the McLaren Young Driver Programme in 1998, which secured him a Formula One seat with McLaren from 2007 to 2012. In 2008, he captured his first World Championship in only his second season in the series. At the time, Lewis was the youngest ever F1 World Champion. Hamilton's other championship titles came in 2014, 2015, 2017, 2018, 2019, and 2020.
