Bell Racing Introduces New M.8

Bell Racing USA is pleased to announce the inclusion of the new multi-purpose M.8 to Bell’s product lineup for 2016.

The origins of the modern M.8 date back to the original M.2 helmet. First introduced in the 1980’s, the M.2 and later M.4 models combined a large eyeport and distinct Bell styling to create a versatile design. The M.8 is the next evolution in Bell’s legendary M series design concept incorporating traditional styling, enhanced visibility and versatile features allowing the helmet to be used in all forms of racing.

The M.8 provides outstanding comfort and features including a lightweight composite shell, comfort-plus interior, superior ventilation with manual lever air intake vents, Bell's innovative hollow synthetic rubber gasket for improved seal and a large eye opening. The M.8 is a great choice for racers who want a lightweight, multi-purpose helmet with a wider field of vision and updated Bell styling and performance. The M.8 is also a great choice for racers who wear eye glasses. The M.8 takes the SRV8 3MM shield and SRV.1 pivot system. The helmet incorporates Bell’s redesigned face piece with recessed areas that allow for seamless radio integration and easy installation.

Racers can also customize the fit of the M.8 by using Bell’s cheek pad inserts in 5mm, 10mm, 15mm and 20mm sizes to tighten the fit in the cheek area. The helmet is Snell SA2015 rated, available in sizes XXS (54-55) to 4XL (67-68) and is pre-drilled for head and neck restraint devices. The M.8 is also available in a carbon version featuring an ultra-lightweight shell made using Bell’s high-pressure molding system for reduced weight and improved strength in sizes 7 1/8 minus (57-) to 7 5/8 Plus (61+).

The M.8 retails for $499.95 and is available in white or matte black colors. The M.8 Carbon retails for $799.95 and is available in carbon finish. The M.8 composite and carbon versions will be available in March 2016.
