Bell Racing Introduces KC7 CMR Youth Karting Helmet

Bell Racing USA is pleased to announce the inclusion of the KC7 CMR in white and graphic versions in the Bell helmet line-up for 2013.

The KC7 CMR is an ultra-lightweight youth karting helmet based on the HP7 design platform. The sleek, aerodynamic design features an advanced ventilation system with 14 air intake and extraction channels that can be used with or without air intake covers to maximize cooling. The SE07 2MM double screen anti fog (DSAF) visor and synthetic hollow rubber gasket seal ensures water will not enter the eye opening in rain conditions.

The KC7 CMR is certified to the CMH standard, developed jointly by the FIA Institute and the Snell Memorial Foundation. This standard has been developed to create a protective, yet lightweight helmet for use in karting by younger racers under 18 years of age.

The KC7 CMR is extremely light, weighing 1185 grams in sizes 54 to 56 and 1230 grams in sizes 57 to 59 (+ or – 3%). The KC7 CMR is a fantastic choice for younger racers who demand superior features, light weight and excellent fit. The KC7 CMR features a ultra-lightweight carbon composite shell, pro-style interior with synthetic neck collar for outstanding comfort, removable/replaceable cheek pads and a front air intake that forces airflow into the helmet for maximum cooling.

The KC7 CMR is fully compatible with Bell’s aerodynamic kits including top wickers gurneys, chin bar gurneys and rear spoilers designed to improve overall helmet stability. The helmet takes a SE07 2MM shield and the SV SE07 pivot system. The KC7 CMR is certified to the Snell/FIA CMH standard (CMR) and is available in sizes 6 1/2 (52) to 7 3/8 (59) in white color.

In addition to being available in white, the KC7 CMR is also available in the Venom graphic. The distinctive graphic offer kart racers an affordable alternative to an expensive custom painted helmet. The paint scheme and graphics have been designed specifically for the KC7 CMR and are clear coated for a hard protective finish. The graphic versions of the KC7 CMR is available in sizes 6 3/4 (54) to 7 3/8 (59).

The KC7 CMR retails for $499.95 in white and $599.95 for the Venom graphics. The KC7 CMR helmets will be available in April 2016.
