Bell Racing Introduces K.1 Pro and K.1 Pro Circuit

Bell Racing USA is pleased to announce the redesigned K.1 Pro and graphic version K.1 Pro Circuit helmets have returned to the Bell helmet line-up for 2016.

The K.1 Pro, based on the GP.2 design platform, is a multi-use, full-featured helmet with superior ventilation, aero styling and Bell’s innovative chin bar design with front chin gurney. The K.1 Pro is a great helmet for open wheel racers, closed car racers and kart racers who demand superior features including light weight, excellent fit and multiple ventilation options. The K.1 Pro can be used in an open wheel configuration with air intake (included) and in a closed car configuration with top forced air insert (sold separately).

In addition to being available in white and matte black, the K.1 Sport is also available in a graphic version called the K.1 Sport Circuit in blue and red versions. The distinctive black and white design with bright red or blue accent highlights combine to offer racers an affordable alternative to an expensive custom painted helmet. The paint scheme and graphics have been designed specifically for the K.1 Pro and are clear coated for a hard protective finish. The K.1 Pro Circuit design has several large white spaces which are perfect for sponsor logos, driver names or other customized graphics.

The K.1 Pro features a lightweight composite shell, comfortable interior fit and maximum ventilation with full chin bar, forehead and top vents. The K.1 Pro also includes Bell’s hollow synthetic rubber gasket seal ensuring air, water and dirt can’t penetrate into the helmet. The K.1 Pro takes a 287 SRV 3MM shield and SRV.1 pivot system. The helmet incorporates Bell’s redesigned face piece with recessed areas that allow for seamless radio integration and easy installation.

Racers can also customize the fit of the K.1 Pro by using Bell’s Cheek Pad Inserts in 5mm, 10mm, 15mm and 20mm sizes to tighten the fit in the cheek area. The helmet is Snell SA2015 rated and is available in sizes S (57) to XL (61+) and incorporated M.6 hardware into the shell for use with head and neck restraint anchor systems.

The K.1 Pro retails for $499.95 in white or matte black and $599.95 for the red and blue Circuit graphic versions. The K.1 Pro will be available in March 2016 and K.1 Pro Circuit in April 2016.
