Bell Racing Introduces Entry Level Sport Helmets

Bell Racing USA is pleased to announce that the Sport helmets including the full-face Sport and open-face Sport Mag have returned to the Bell helmet line-up for 2016.

The Sport models have been designed for the sportsman or entry level racer who demands value and quality at an affordable price. All Sport helmets feature classic Bell design styling, comfortable interior and composite shell.

The all-purpose full-face Sport model offers a wide range of features, composite shell, large eyeport, and maximum ventilation with direct flow chin bar vents, top vents and closable forehead vents. The Sport takes a 281 SRV 3MM shield and SRV.2 pivot system. Racers can also customize the fit of the Sport by using Bell’s Cheek Pad Inserts in 5mm, 10mm, 15mm and 20mm sizes to tighten the fit in the cheek area. The helmet is Snell SA2015 rated and is available in sizes S (57) to XL (61+) and has M6 terminals for use with head and neck restraint device anchor systems. Standard colors include white, gloss black and safety orange.

In addition to being available in standard colors, the Sport is also available a graphic version called the Sport Edge. The Sport Edge features a silver and black matte design with sharp angles and visual que’s. Both distinctive designs offer racers an affordable alternative to an expensive custom painted helmet. The paint scheme and graphics have been designed specifically for the Sport and are clear coated for a hard protective finish.

Sport Mag

Bell’s versatile open face Sport Mag continues the Bell tradition of building high-quality open face helmets with classic styling. The Snell SA2015 rated Sport Mag is designed for racers who enjoy the feel of an open face helmet and demand quality at an affordable price.

The Sport Mag offers advanced projection and a visor peak with sun screen to help shield the eyes from excess sunlight. The Sport Mag features a composite shell, comfortable interior and removable/replaceable cheek pads for a more custom fit. Standard colors include white, gloss black and safety orange.

The helmet has M6 terminals in the shell for head and neck restraint device anchor systems and offers a full adult size range, available in sizes S (57) to XL (61+). The Sport Mag is the first open face model designed for the auto racing market to be offered in true extra, extra large helmet sizes. The curved design at the bottom of the Sport Mag offers a tighter, more secure feeling fit.
