Luke Johnson

Luke Johnson returns to the PRO Light class in 2016 after a second-place finish in the points last season. He is a podium regular, with three career wins in the PRO Light class and eight in PRO Buggy. Johnson began racing the PRO Light class in the series’ first season. He moved to PRO Buggy later and, in 2013, dominated the class for the title. His return to PRO Light the following year saw a building year. He capped off a two-win season in 2015 with a runner-up finish in the final standings. The son of Motorcycle Hall of Fame and Motorsports Hall of Fame inductee and Baja winner Ricky Johnson, Luke Johnson has shown a determination to make his own way in motorsport. “My dad definitely paved the way for me to get into the sport, and cast a large shadow,” said Johnson. “But I was very motivated to rise above it and make my own path.”
