Casey collected seven feature wins for four different car owners during the '08 season, with six scores in the Sprint Car ranks along with a POWRi Midget main event win at Lucas Oil Speedway. Half his Sprint Car wins came in left coast action with Rex Foster (two ASCS Canyon Region wins at Manzanita in addition to an open win in Victorville) with other triumphs coming in the Midwest at Lincoln Park, Waynesfield and Fremont.
WAR Sprint Car Series
The Wingless Auto Racing Series is an open non-wing sprint car racing organization based out of Missouri.
In 2012, Andrew Korte created the WAR series. Korte had a vision of non-wing sprint cars racing throughout America's heartland in an organized effort. After four years of promoting WAR, Korte passed the series onto Casey Shuman in late 2015. Being a second-generation driver has left Shuman with an abundance of knowledge and experience in the world of motorsports. The next chapter for WAR promises to be the most exciting and successful since it's inception.
